G B FLINT COACHWORKS FINALIST IN PEUGEOT and CITROEN INDEPENDENT BODYSHOP OF THE YEAR AWARD 2012
GB Flint Coachworks in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, is celebrating after being named as one of the Finalists in Peugeot and Citroen's Independent Bodyshop of the Year Awards 2012, for its continually high levels of service and customer care. The company, which employs 27 people, beat off stiff competition to be one of only a few Finalists from the UK Network of Peugeot and Citroen Accident Repair Centres (PARC's/CARC's) and was presented with their certificate by their district bodyshop development manager, Phillipa Wells. Launched in January 2011, the programme recognises excellence in accident repair and all of the PARC's/CARC's were measured on a monthly basis against a set of points scoring criteria and key performance indicators, such as customer satisfaction and technical training. Their district bodyshop development manager worked closely with them to try and achieve the highest possible score. Carl Flint, Managing Director at GB Flints, said: "This award is an acknowledgment of all the hard work the team has put into the business and to be a Finalist in both Peugeot and Citroen's Independent Bodyshop of the Year highlights that GB Flints continue to be a leader in the vehicle accident repair industry. We are committed to delivering high quality and safe repairs, combined with outstanding customer care." Commenting on the award Adrian Mossop, Peugeot and Citroen accident repair programme manager, said: "The accident repair sector is a vital part of our industry and I'm pleased that GB Flints has been recognised as being one of the very best bodyshops in the UK. Barrie said " I have always wanted to pass the VDA test as I see it as the mark of a professional vehicle damage assessor. The rest of the Fix Auto Nottingham damage assessment team are qualified and I wanted to prove my skills to my work colleagues and all those involved in the claims process." Barrie spent 10 years as a damage assessor with a large regional repair group choosing to move to Fix Auto Nottingham as the family atmosphere appealed to him. He is enjoying the emphasis on delivering outstanding customer service and developing good working relationships with our customers. Barrie took advantage of a pre-assessment preparation course at Thatcham mentored by Les Minton. Barrie was impressed by the thoroughness and light hearted way in which Les delivered the course, ensuring that every delegate had the best opportunity to hone the skills needed to pass the ATA assessment. Commenting on his success, Managing Director Carl Flint said "during his interview, Barrie demonstrated excellent skills and knowledge so I had no hesitation in booking him onto the ATA preparation course and test at Thatcham. That faith has been rewarded with his success in the VDA qualification. Although he only joined us a month ago, Barrie is becoming an invaluable and popular member of our team." |
